Film Festivals Galore!
As we are approaching the one year anniversary of the first day of shooting for the Reunion, we are getting ready to go to TWO film festivals that have accepted the film.
The first is the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, which I have mentioned before. Our film is the Closing Night selection, which is a big honor. It takes place in Seattle this coming weekend, the 24th through the 26th. Myself, Jourdan, Scott, Ryan and a couple other friends will be flying up to attend the screening and the Q&A afterward. We're SUPER excited.
The film festival's website is here: www.nffty.org . And you can visit our specific page here.
The Reunion of Amilia Marbleberry and Marcy Stills has also been accepted to the Santa Cruz Film Festival!
It's like a nice full-circle situation. The movie will be screening on May 7th as part of the Student Film portion (along with Alex's movie, Another Way!). It'll be nice to head back to Santa Cruz and watch the fruit of our labors where it all began. The Santa Cruz Film Festival website is: http://www.santacruzfilmfestival.org/
Check it out!
It's so nice to have official recognition for something we worked so hard on, and we're honored to be a part of these festivals.
Check back soon with pictures and tales of how everything goes!
